cut them with scissors or any sharp object. If you intend to retie them, we suggest that you cut the beads where they were originally tied to make for an easier re-tying process.

no. feel free to wear as many waist beads as you'd like.

waist beads can break due to excessive tugging, weight gain, or normal wear and tear. to replace a broken strand, you can re-tie your beads if applicable or order a new strand.

6. Can waist beads be worn at all times?

yes. In the shower, while exercising, etc. once tied, you can conduct business as normal. waist beads are durable but keep in mind, excessive water and/or tugging may cause the string to weaken overtime.

waist beads can be used as a low maintenance weight management tool because as you gain weight the beads will rise/tighten and as you lose weight, the beads will fall/loosen, therefore effectively tracking weight gain and loss.
